Cartoons TV has always
been an excellent way of relaxing for me. When I arrive home after university,
after finishing god knows how many works for university, I feel the urge of
watching television. I always arrive on time to watch the news, but when I do watch
them I end up even more stressed, so I wait for a bit longer until they are over
so, I can watch some other show. In the past, when I found myself free early and
arrived for lunch time I was able to watch brazilian soaps. (I've never had
cable TV thus I've learned to enjoy national programming, regardles of how
terrible some shows are). In other ocations, when I arrived at around six
o'clock, I was able to watch cartoons and that was about the best TV had to
offer!
When I used to go to school, I used to hurry back home and watch a
cartoon marathon; it used to begin with little Lulu. I used to love Tobi, Anita
and Lulu, I used to think they were really smart and funny! That little chubby
boy was the best! After that I used to watch Meitantei Conan (Detective Conan)
and I think that's the best cartoon I've ever watched in my whole life. The
plot was about a teenager of about 17 years of age, who used to work as a young
detective but then some bad men forced him to consume a misterious drug which
was supposed to kill him, but instead it caused another effect: it shrank its
body and he took the shape of a 7 years old boy. He worked with a scientis who
helped him with thousands of tricks and thus allowed him to continue
investigating and solving cases despite his new body. However, adults were
always aware of what he was doing, so they used to comment on how weird it was
that the boy was so smart and serious, non natural for a little boy so what was
best about the cartoon was looking at Conan trying to solve cases while also
trying to keep acting as a little boy.
I
believe cartoons are the best thing in life!
